šŸŽÆ What’s Your Biggest AI Win So Far?
I want to hear from you—What’s the biggest success you’ve had using AI in your practice so far? Maybe it saved you hours on a task you used to dread…Maybe it helped you deliver more value to a client…Or maybe it just made something click that used to feel complicated. Whatever it is—big or small—I’d love to know. šŸ‘‡ Share your AI win in the comments so we can celebrate (and learn from) each other. Let’s build a library of real results.

One of my biggest wins with AI has been creating complex Excel reports in minutes that used to take hours. For example, I’ve used it to build fully formatted trial balance comparison spreadsheets with lookup formulas, variance analysis, and missing account flags, all generated from just two basic files. It’s saved me so much time and reduced errors, letting me focus on analyzing results instead of wrestling with formulas. This has boosted my profit significantly on this project!

@Mark Wickersham I used ChatGPT =)
🌿 New ChatGPT Feature: Branch in New Chat
OpenAI released a brand-new feature on 4th September... you can now branch conversations in ChatGPT. That means if you want to take a chat in a different direction, you don’t have to lose your original thread. Just hover over a message, click More actions (⋯), and select Branch in new chat to start fresh from that point. šŸ“ø (See the screenshot below for how it looks) This is available today for all logged-in users on web. šŸ‘‰ Have you spotted this feature yet? How do you think you’ll use it? I’ll be honest... I’m still struggling to find super practical use cases myself, but if I do, I’ll let you know. In the meantime, I’d love to hear your ideas on where branching could really help.

I was in @Emily Cross live event last week when she showed this. I am one of those users who brainstorms from the brainstorm. Branching off will help save me time and keep me more organized.

@Mark Wickersham That's the exciting thing about AI, it keeps evolving. Forums like this are great for coming up with ideas.
šŸŽ‰ It’s Friday! Let’s Celebrate Our AI Wins
We’ve made it to the end of the week… so here’s a question for you: šŸ‘‰ What’s been your biggest success using AI this week? It could be something that saved you hours, impressed a client, or even just made your day a little easier. Share your wins below so we can all celebrate and learn from each other. šŸ’¬ To get things started, I’ll share my biggest AI success this week in the comments. Your turn—what’s worked best for you?

Last week I had a small but meaningful win šŸŽ‰I took my diagnostic findings from a client diagnostic review (with all identifying details removed) and dropped the notes into Canvas. From there, I was able to polish them into a clear summary of issues and add cost options if the client chooses to have me handle the cleanup. (Which they did!) What used to feel messy and scattered in my notes now looks professional, organized, and client‑ready. Canvas made it simple to move from raw findings → actionable summary → service proposal with pricing. It’s a great reminder of how a little structure can make advisory work easier for both me and the client. āœ…

@Shabir Ladha I currently have a agent setup to help me plan a business trip next year that I want to also add in vacation time. It is searching via my prompt specifications(flight, hotel, activities, etc.) and updates me automatically every two weeks.
šŸ’¬ Thinking About Starting Your Own Community?
Last month, I hosted a livestream all about the power of communities—especially why accounting firm owners should seriously consider building one of their own. If you missed it, I walked through: - Why community-building is such a powerful positioning tool - How platforms like Skool make it surprisingly easy to get started - What I’ve learned running my own communities - Real examples of how accountants can use community to deepen client relationships, offer group programs, or even add a new revenue stream šŸŽ„ You can catch the replay here. šŸ’” Here’s my offer to you: If you decide to start your own Skool community using my affiliate link, I’ll go a step further… āœ… I’ll also personally help guide you through the setup process, via a private course within this community, including the AI prompts I use to save time. šŸ’¼ Use my affiliate link here. Got questions about running a community, the Skool platform, or how this could fit into your business model? šŸ‘‡ Drop them in the comments—I’m happy to help!

Projects in chatGPT
Trying to explore this functionality and experimenting a bit. I’m in the middle of creating my new study and here are some of the chats I’ve included within the ā€œofficeā€ project I’ve created: • New podcasting/office tech to recommend • Social media posts to show progress • Productivity tips • Monitor mount solutions Anyone else used Projects? I’m thinking of other ideas!
