Congratulations to Bill and Julie! I spent the weekend with my sister and then a baby shower for my niece.
Temperament
I’ve been reading in Ezekiel, specifically ch 1-4. Wow! That is not fun to read. Anyway, Tara Leigh Cobble says that Ezekiel’s (well she used to words personality but now I know she should have used the word temperament) was suitable or “fit for” the life that he was assigned for as a prophet. He was a bit stubborn or rebellious in a way. I can see that my temperament is “fit for” or suitable for the situation I am in. Dr. Dave, can you speak on that?
Dr. Dave's question for this week
If you joined the Life Reframe community because you wanted a safe, caring community of people to interact with, would you please share just a brief glimpse of what pain, hurt, or loss you brought here. I would like to be able to pray for you more specifically And I know others on here would appreciate the opportunity to love on you and encourage you in the midst of your painful season.

I think a lot of Christian women struggle with what the meaning of self identity means. It’s kind of a modern term. And if there are other Christians out there, like me, I tend to shy away from modern thinking…terms. For myself, I am just starting to learn what that means in a Christian sense. And it is far from what the world sees it as. A better term would be CHRIST identity. We are in, of and made by CHRIST. Can you all pray for my strength to learn this? I am 58, so it’s not so easy anymore. Let me know what I can pray for for you. Talking to God is my favorite thing to do. God Bless!
Church today?
If you go to church share some info about it? What do you like most about it?

Yesterday our sermon was on the woman that asked Jesus for her daughter be free from a demon spirit. (Ugh, I can’t imagine a demon possessed child!) Anyway, at first Jesus IGNORED her! JESUS! Then he rebuked her! Ugh! I would have run away crying! But she kept on! She kept pestering him and said “but even a dog eats the crumbs from his master’s table.” Made me think….keep praying! Keep pestering God! I guess……… I may be like that woman….because NOTHING will stop me from praying to HIM!
When we pray for something internal.
So I’ve been praying for a certain change in myself. I know the prayer alone isn’t going to happen without a mental or physical change on my part. Where can you point to, in scripture, that supports this view. Let’s say someone is praying for spiritual wisdom… or a mental outlook change to something in our lives.
