https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah9xKtNX20c I just bought some of this rope testing now how fast it wicks so far in about 1 hour 1/32nd of a mason jar has transferred from one jar to the other. I adore wicking beds, but I have been looking for something for automatic watering of seed starting, this looks better than my other trials.
One of the skills I feel I am very much lacking in. What are your routines/practices? Strategies/materials you swear by? In my case I’m referring to machetes, hand saws, battery powered chain saws of varying sizes, pruners, loppers, etc.
I have been learning how to use a dremel to sharpen the chains for the chainsaw, and machetes... with the right attachment and practice I have been able to do this in a short amount of time, but it is a skill that takes time to develop. Practice is key, and youtube university helps...
