Have been in the electric utility field for over 20 years, I started a training business about 6 months ago officially, and I built a training course app. I found local AI very interesting and started playing with it on my old laptop then my new laptop, and then I finally purchased A very expensive desktop (nividia 5090, 96gb ram, 4tb of harddrive). Kind of what Daniel stated in his videos is kind of got tired of renting and wanting to own (both paying 400 to 800 a month between claude and chatgpt and security). So I have a ollama & web UI system partially built with multiple agents in the hope of being able to not rely so much on frontier models and continue on assisting me in building training software, load and generation forcasting and other services.
