Quick question about the link in cold email
Hey everyone, I hope you're all good ! Got a question on the link in cold email, is it a forbidden technic or is it still OK to put one or two ? To explain, I'm the founder of a creative agency and showing our work is one of the strongest argument to get a call ! Thx Eug

We don't do it, just drop the agency name and assuming you have decent SEO they'll find you. People also check the sender and go the URL that way. In general the first message is more to open the conversation too. Once the convo is going yes ofc.
My client made $21k from our cold emails last month
Here is the cold email report my agency sent to one of our clients for July (Last month)! Cold Email Report - July 2026: Emails sent: 63k New opportunities generated: 337 Qualified calls booked: 34 Revenue generated: $21,492 --------- Biggest lesson? We recently switched to a rev share model. We are way more invested in their success. The revenue numbers reflect that. This is revenue purely from the sales calls booked via our cold email system. Not including their other channel (Instagram Shoutouts) When the focus is on the right metric, everybody is happy. I wish you all a thriving last 10 days of August! 🚀

Love that for you! Personally I have mixed feelings about Rev Share. My experience is it works well to close the sale initially but down the line things get complicated. The clients start to question whether the increased revenue is really attributable to the agency, or whether the increased revenue really is due to the work the agency is doing (or if it is due to work they did with offers, landing page, etc) or if it's work the agency did in the past and whether they really need to keep paying for that added revenue today. Then the other problem I faced was scale, it's all good until payments are in the mid-low 4 figures, but once it crosses that they start to compare the cost to what a different agency would cost. It's pretty bitter-sweet and can be a little unfair towards the agency side since typically they make a big early investment expecting the rewards down the line but in reality the client holds the control over the relationship and can cut it off once it gets too high. Would love to know other's experiences. Personally I can still do rev share sometimes but it's generally along with a considerable fixed fee, so the rev share is more of a performance bonus than anything.
