🚀New Video: I Tried 100+ Claude Code Skills. These 6 Are The Best.
After 400 hours in Claude Code, I noticed that businesses keep paying for the same six types of skills. In this video, I break down each one, what it does, and why these simple, boring skills are the ones that actually sell. Whether you're brand new to AI automations or already building for clients, these are the skills worth learning first.

@Nate Herk Would appreciate some help - I don't have "/plugin" available as a valid "/" command in my Claude or Claude Code - what am I missing?

Figured this one out - it too me a minute but for those who are like me and had a hard time figuring it out you have to run it from the Terminal after launching claude from the same Terminal.
Plugin issues
I am looking to plugin a skill globally but can’t figure out how. Any tips?

I finally just figured this one out - you have to run it from your Terminal window after launch Claude inside of the Terminal.
🚀New Video: Beginner's Guide to Building Beautiful Websites with Claude Code
In this video, I'm sharing five simple hacks you can use in Claude Code to build and design better websites. These aren't complicated tricks that require years of coding experience. They're practical techniques that anyone can start using right away, even if you've never touched Claude Code before. I'll walk you through each hack step by step so you can see exactly how they work in real time. By the end of this video, you'll have built your own branded, professional website from scratch without writing a single line of code manually. If you've been wanting to create a website but felt intimidated by the technical side, this is the video for you. Frontend Design Skills: https://x.com/trq212/status/1989061937590837678?s=20

LOL I used the link from @Nate Herk's video on YT to access the CLAUDE.md and downloaded the WAT version - I spent a lof of time trying to figure things out with that one when I noticed all of the dependencies in it which led me down another rabbit hole but, I gotta say I have learned so much in the last 2 days that I had ZERO idea about before this experience! I now have the correct Web Design CLAUDE.md ... opened. I tried looking up some of the dependencies in that one though and have questions if someone might care to point me in the correct direction... there's a reference to serve.mjs when I Google it, I see there is something called server.mjs - where should I get this one from? Also, wondering the best place to get Puppeteer from - found it from multiple places. Thanks for any help - I appreciate it!

@David Potter when I type /plugin, it doesn't show any valid command to select or any valid command that comes up . I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
7-Day Challenge Meet the Builders
I've started working my way through the 7-Day Challenge in the Classroom - Just got a first draft of a landing page re-design done which is amazing! I had what seemed like every issue in the "book" come up... I didn't have Git installed, then didn't have node installed, then there were some issues with VS Code and Claude working together nicely... but I'm learning that the way to be successful is to keep bashing my head against every challenge until the challenge gives way! QUESTION: There's a step for Day 1 that says: Meet the Builders Community Introduce yourself in the community thread. Share what you're hoping to build, your experience level, and what brought you here. You'll see other builders doing the same — these are the people you'll be sharing your work with over the next 7 days. Is the Meet the Builders Community a separate thing in this group? Or, does that just mean to post to the General Discussion?

@David Barroso Yeah, I'm also iterating the Newsletter workflow now as well - so far it's pretty darn good, but I'm in the process of perfecting it - I think I could sell that service for a couple hundred per month too.

7-Day Challenge Update on Day 1
@Nate herk Ai Found a few things that may need your attention. @Nate Herk 1) I followed your Day 1 video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFepZE_wrfg very closely and installed the WAT CLAUDE.md file, renamed to CLAUDE.md into VS Code and provided Claude Code (inside of VS Code) the same prompt you did in the video "read the claude.md file and then set up the project and the structure, and then we'll start building workflows together" it was super awesome what happened next, it created a similar structure but without the README.md files in tools/ and workflows/ (I've attached some screenshots from my setup and your video for your reference). 2) In the .env file, it did not generate with the OAuth and "other API keys" - none of this is really a big deal, I'm just wondering if the current WAT CLAUDE.md file is not the same as when you recorded the tutorial 3) There's a bad link on the 7 Day AIS Challenge -> Day 1: First Workflow -> Build: Newsletter Automation page that goes to key.ai instead of kie.com - again not a huge deal, but it took me about 30 mins to figure that one out LOL Hopefully, this is helpful and these items could be addressed, especially #3. If not, hopefully, this post will be helpful to others attempting the 7-Day Challenge!

@Amul Jaiswal Agreed. Except the key.ai stuff that is supposed to be kie.ai - it looks like their spell checker or whatever they used changed it everywhere from kie to key. 😅🤣 Also, there was a TON of stuff as a beginner that I needed to get setup that could have been farily horrific, but I learned a ton of stuff with the AI helping. For example, getting git and node.js installed on my machine, needing to instruct Claude about the correct endpoints for the different tools. The fact that Perplexity requires $50 loaded to get the API now so I went with OpenRouter with Guardrails instead to access Perplexity (at least for now - just to get started). Then there was setting up Google OAuth to get the email functionality to work - that was a 40 minute sidequest LOL What's been great about all of this is that I feel like I've really unlocked the power of AI at a level that I hadn't before... AI is so much more capable than its ever been which makes it way more fun! This challenge has already helped me identify my superpower ... I don't quit! Even after the dopamine wears off I keep pushing until I find the solution!

@Barry Magee It's the setup part that nobody covers. My first few videos are going to be about the process of getting started and setup - the stuff that nobody covers. I really like @Nate Herk's content, but there's a lot in this process that just needs a few tweaks to be complete.

Over 20 years in insurance - I love to help folks figure things out. In my Medicare agency I'm an educator. Looking to use those skills with AI next!
