Spam and PM's from different users - be aware!
I've just noticed that some users in this group receive messages from others encouraging them to purchase their services, either from a "songwriter" or someone with connections in the music industry. Usually, these people are trying to sell you AI-generated songs that they make for free, claiming that this is them doing the songwriting part for you. Please do not respond to any messages like that, and send me a PM if you see something like this. I'm trying my best to keep this group clean of these spammers and scammers.

What's your goals for 2026?
New year - new goals! I want to know what your goals are when it comes to music production for 2026? Mine is to make at least a full song every week, but this is also my main job so it might be easier for me than for anyone who has this as a hobby.

How are you using AI in Music Production?
I've been using AI a lot... actually a bit too much lately, for me and my clients' music production. It feels like it's "cheating" in a way, but it still helps me out a lot and gets me more creative to make real music. How are you using AI, if you're using it, for music production?

I used Suno for a while and actually released a track that I split the stems out of and sang vocals. This was early on last year so the instruments are waaay better now. But it really does open up some creative space for those of us who can use some prodding and support. It actually helped me write my OWN lyrics. It is my understanding that you can use AI to release as long as some of the elements in the track are original. I also added some of my own keys in addition to vox.

@Martin Raay Yes, thank you! That is correct. I know I may be in the minority will liking AI in creative outlets (as an artist) but I just think it has so much potential to use as leverage for all of us. Now, we just need more time to listen to all this music. I look forward to taking your AI class.
