@Richard Atkin I started training over 20 years ago in the military. Wasn't specific jiu-jitsu more grapple takedown. I then joined a local grapple club but life and work disrupted it for a long time . Came into jits over 2 years ago, competed, snapped my tibia and fibia doing a takedown, totally had my confidence kicked. Lost just about as much ability and function and became depressed with the whole ordeal. Early part of this year went to compete in mexico in a local inter club event, and iv just got back from Italy doing something very similar. I have managed to pull myself together, gather what small skills I had and now really enjoying where I am, Ed Atkin has 100% helped in both mental.and physical motivation, and bow and arrow club just inspired me with the guys within it . That's why I travel 60 miles to train there. Sorry its a long reply. But its been a journey .
