One of the biggest mistakes you can make on a cold call? Jumping into “Here’s how I can help…” before you’ve actually listened. When you’re talking to a homeowner, don’t assume you already know why they might want to sell. Instead, get curious. 👇 ❓ Are they tired of dealing with maintenance? ❓ Are tenant issues becoming a headache? ❓ Are they considering selling but unsure what their options are? ❓ Or is there something completely different going on? Your job isn’t to force a solution. Your job is to uncover the problem first. The better you understand their situation, the better you can determine whether you can actually help.
