🛑 DAY 3: The "No" Without an Explanation
We are halfway through, and today we are building a muscle that the "old you" used to have: boundaries sis!!!! As caretakers, we say "yes" to everyone else, even when it means saying "no" to ourselves. We over-commit, and then we drown in resentment. And when we finally do say no, we follow it up with a 5-minute apology or a list of excuses. Not today. Today, "No" is a complete sentence!!! 👇 Your Action Today: Say "no" to one request, favor, or chore today that drains your energy. And here is the catch: Do not explain yourself, do not make an excuse, and do not apologize. What did you protect your peace from today? Drop a 🛑 emoji in the comments to let us know you held the line!

🛑 DAY 1: The 5-Minute Brain Dump
❤️ Welcome to Day 1 of the 7-Day Drop the Cape Challenge, sisters! If you just survived a hectic holiday weekend of hosting, cooking, and managing everyone else's needs... you are exactly where you need to be. Today, we are starting with the heaviest thing you are carrying: your mind sis!!!! As women, our brains have 50 tabs open at all times. We are remembering doctor appointments, grocery lists, laundry, work deadlines, and emotional checking-in on everyone else. It is exhausting, and it’s why you feel like screaming. Today, we clear the mental 👇 Your Micro-Action Today: Grab a scrap piece of paper and a pen. Set a timer on your phone for 5 minutes. Write down everything swirling in your head. Do not organize it. Do not make it pretty. Just dump it all out until your brain feels lighter. When you're done, come back to to this post drop a picture of your messy handwritten paper. 🤫 DAY 2: The Sacred 10 Minutes of Silence
Sis, when was the last time your world was completely quiet? No kids yelling, no TV on in the background, video scrolling or kids asking you, "Mom, where is my..." or "Wife, what's for dinner?" Constant noise keeps you on high alert. Today, we are reclaiming our peace!! 👇 Your Action Today: Find 10 minutes today to sit in complete silence. - Tip: You can do this sitting in your parked car, or locking yourself in the bathroom. No scrolling on your phone. Just close your eyes, breathe, and let the silence settle your mind. Comment "SILENCE CLAIMED" below and tell us where you had to hide to get your 10 minutes today! I'll go first 😌

👑 The Saturday Night "Drop the Cape" Trivia Game 👑
Hey sisters! 🤍 Happy Saturday night. The house is (hopefully) starting to quiet down, and before we officially lock arms for our 7-Day Challenge this Monday, let's play a quick, fun game. Look at the questions below and count how many times you answer B or C. Let’s see who is secretly wearing a superhero cape they desperately need to take off! 🦸‍♀️👇 Question 1: You are walking through the living room and see a stray sock on the floor. What do you do? - A) Walk right past it. It’s not my sock, not my problem today. - B) Pick it up while sighing heavily, instantly wondering why no one else in this house has eyes. - C) Pick it up, bend down to grab three other things, and end up cleaning the entire living room for the next 20 minutes. Question 2: Someone asks you, "Hey, can you help me with this project/favor real quick?" when your plate is already overflowing. Your automatic response is: - A) "I'd love to, but I'm completely maxed out right now!" - B) "Sure, I can stretch myself thin and make it happen." (While screaming internally). - C) "Oh, absolutely! Don't worry about it at all, I've got you covered!" (And then you skip lunch to do it). Question 3: What does a "hot cup of coffee or tea" mean to you lately? - A) A delicious, steaming beverage I sit down and enjoy for 15 uninterrupted minutes. - B) A beverage I have to reheat in the microwave at least three times before 2 PM. - C) A myth. I only drink lukewarm or accidentally iced coffee while running out the door. Question 4: You finally get 10 minutes of absolute silence to yourself. What is your brain doing? - A) Relaxing, deep breathing, and just soaking in the peace. - B) Mentally building tomorrow's grocery list and checking the school calendar. - C) Feeling guilty that I'm sitting down instead of doing the laundry or dishes.
