Thanks for joining me :)
Hey everyone! Thanks so much for joining me here. What a great group to start with :) If you have not already, please share where you’re from and how overcoming knee pain would change your life. I have not run a group on Skool before, so this is a first for us both probably. I’d love for this to become one of the best places for women over 50 (and of course we have room for everyone :)) who are struggling with knee pain, to become fully empowered with the right ideas and skills so that they can return to the activities they love. This can be a community where you’re able to share your frustrations, progress, and goals. And I can share with you what I know about pain and how to feel and move better, even if you have arthritis or bone on bone etc. Let me know if you have any questions. Drew
Thanks for joining me :)

Hi, I'm currently living in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada although I have lived many places and am originally from Calgary, Canada. I have knee pain when I go up or down stairs, when I get up out of chairs, when I cycle, when I try to dance pretty much when I do anything except walk. My knees don't bother me if I walk on a relatively flat surface. Both knees are bone on bone. I am 70 and when I was in my mid 40s I thought all I wanted was knee replacement on both knees but I changed my mind. I believe something better will come along like cartilage replacement or some kind of stem cell therapy. At any rate, something innovative and I am afraid if I have a knee replacement I would not be a candidate for anything like that. Also, I decided not to have replacements as the doctors were not reassuring about the range of motion I could expect after surgery. If my knees didn't hurt so much I would enjoy cycling more and would exercise more in general. I would also be able to dance again. I was a professional flamenco dancer for many years but finally had to quit because my knees hurt too much. While I can still do the movement parts of flamenco I cannot do the footwork at all. My life would be better in general if my knees were less painful.
