How long before license was received?
Hey all. I passed my Florida auctioneers exam Jan. 29th. As of today, I still have not received my license. I called and they said I should receive it “at the end of the week”….. two weeks ago and again today. Just curious – how long did it take to get yours in hand? P.S. And no- they are not delaying it because of my name. 🤣 I have a FL real estate license as well and had a super fast turn around.

@Benjamin Ruffert I could be wrong but I believe there are MANY non-profits, MANY sellers, and MANY grown children of sellers who would love nothing more than to have an auctioneer who has tattoos like them and/or who has a similar personality as them or of the clientele they serve. Throw fabulous photos of you in auctioning shots with those tattoos on display and photos of you in “dressy clothes with the good hair” in your marketing.

Auctioneering while riding a bull?
Has anyone ever done something crazy while bid calling? I just left a 2 hour consultation meeting with a client and they asked if I would be willing to sell one item while riding a mechanical bull for our Night at the Texas Rodeo themed event. 🐂 It could make a great video or painful one 😂😂😂
