You play the leading role in your own life, and your life is filled with different characters. Someone plays your mother, your father, your siblings, or is simply there as an extra. Someone plays the love of your life. Just as you play the love of their life. You also play a role in other people’s lives. In other people’s movies. In someone’s movie you are the hero; in someone else’s, the villain. My point, dear friends, is this: don’t take everything so personally. Accept your role. Accept the roles of others. Seen this way, it becomes easier to step back from events where we previously reacted in ways that harmed us. Life becomes so much more enjoyable that way.
