Road Side Assistance???
Good day Dispatch Community. I am looking for insight regarding the legal obligations of various parties within the trucking industry when a mechanical failure occurs. In a scenario where a carrier’s vehicle breaks down while transporting a full load to its destination, what are the specific legal responsibilities for each of the following: - Dispatcher - Carrier - Shipper - Broker I would appreciate any knowledge or expertise you can share on how liability and duties are distributed in this situation.

just for fun
hello everyone! I know to start off you want to work with whoever works with you, however what are your long term goal trucks to dispatch for? add a comment as to why you chose that option.

I am choosing dry vans and reefers they seem the easiest to get! I will be glad to get anything!
Signed my first Carrier!
I got my first carrier! He found me on Instagram and we had the sales call today, he signed the contract and sent it back after the call. Our onboarding call is Wednesday and he has a 40ft Hotshot. I'm super excited that this is all coming together. Now I don't feel like I'm 'starting a business' like the business is up and running really quick and im just here for the ride lol. I've only been in the paid course for a month so I know I have a lot to learn. If anyone has any experience with Hotshots, or hotshots in the Texas area, I'd love to pick your brain :)
