I wanted to share my experience with the PMP application. On May 26, I received feedback on my initial submission because one of my projects was presented as a program. In reality, it was a 14-month project with a single Project Manager (me) and multiple releases. The issue was more about how I described it than the actual experience. I revised it as a single end-to-end project with incremental deliveries and resubmitted. I’m currently waiting for the outcome. For context, over the past few years I’ve been more focused on portfolio management, so most of my direct project management experience comes from earlier roles.
