New place New decisions No built-in safety net That hesitation makes sense. But here’s what I’ve seen again and again — confidence doesn’t come before the first trip. It builds because of it. Most solo travelers don’t start fearless. They start cautious. ..Prepared. ...Aware. Then something shifts. Curious — what holds you back more right now: Safety concerns or Confidence going alone?

I’m a new member. I’m a pretty experienced traveler. I tend to indulge in long stays and cruises for particular destinations, including Greece, northern Italy, Canadian Maritimes, Tucson and New York City. I also regularly plan stays on the Connecticut shoreline, especially when air travel is difficult. I hope I can contribute to the success of the group.
