Completing the Stress Cycle
Here's something most people don't know: stress doesn't just live in your mind. It gets physically stuck in your body. And if you never complete the stress cycle, it stays there — and for those of us with autoimmune conditions, that matters enormously. Today I invite you to try ONE of these and report back: 🚶 20-minute walk 💃 10-minute dance to your favorite song 🤗 5-minute body shake or self-hug 🌬️ 5 rounds of 4-7-8 breathing Which one did you choose? How did your body feel after? 👇Share your answer in comments

I just completed my walk. I feel relaxed and energized at the same time. Accomplished!

@Annie Toro Lopez I walk the dog. Does that count? I am in the process of motivating myself to exercise. I had back surgery 6 months ago and then diagnosed with lupus 2 months ago. I know I have to start. It’s just tough!
Pain Free
I finished ozone infusion a year and a half ago, I am pain free for the first time in 25 years. I have fibromyalgia and lupus and struggled with severe pain, my husband had to cut my food for me and had trouble walking. They remove your blood, infuse it with O3 and put it back in your body and it removes inflammation. This only lasts 1 week. The dr office had me do this once a week for 3 months, could be permanent. I am running circles around my high school students pain-free, caffeine free. Catch- FDA refuses to approve it. I am off of the cocktail of drugs, chemo, prednisone and pain meds. So this treatment has trained my immune system to have an anti inflammatory response to my diseases. My distended bladder is back to normal, my 30+ skin scabs are gone and brain fog improved.I am a 53 year old mom who works at 3 different schools in my district. I did the treatment because I knew someone who was successful at it. The ozone removes the inflammation, i dropped 6 rx and 3 specialists. All I take now is thyroid and BP. I know this is hard to hear from strangers. I would never have done the treatment if it hadn't been for a friend. I just wanna be that for someone else

What a great story. I was just diagnosed, 2 months ago. I don’t even know when I have a flare because I’ve always felt this way. Congrats!!

Welcome!!
Support System
Having a support system when we're dealing with a difficult autoimmune condition is very important. Your support system doesn't have to be extensive to be effective. It can be one person who hears you and helps you feel seen. A friend, a nurse at your doctor's office, a coworker or colleague, or a teacher. This community is also part of your support system. We're here to uplift and encourage each other. To cheer each other on and celebrate success. And to offer hope when we are feeling defeated. Because everyone feels that way once in a while. A community like this requires some level of participation. The more you show up and participate, the more you will benefit from the community. 🤗 How are you feeling today? What is your body telling you? We get you. We hear you. We are here for you. 💜🧡
