If you want the best of both worlds, I would recommend N8N. They charge per workflow rather than per step (operation). You could have a workflow (scenario) with 1000 steps in it, and it would not matter. They are also very code-friendly, so if you know how to code and are working with extremely complex workflows you can add code although not necessary (most of the time) It has a steeper learning curve than make but it is well worth it if your business revolves around automation.
