Keeping the weekend briefs going. I just got a new opportunity tied to multiple basketball spots taking place in Miami, and I’m looking for Miami based artists and producers who can capture the sound and energy of the city. For this one, I’m specifically looking for people who are either currently based in Miami or have a real connection to the city. If you grew up there, spent significant time there, or have strong roots there, definitely mention that. Open to a range of styles, especially: • Hip hop • Pop • Latin / Spanish language • Caribbean influenced sounds • Hard hitting sports energy • Lighter, playful, joyful, upbeat records • Male and female artists Think modern Miami energy, not just the obvious references. Contemporary, youthful, cultural, rhythmic, fun, competitive, and something that could feel right around basketball. Side note: I saw a very similar Miami related brief a few months ago and sat that one out. Seeing another one come through this quickly feels like a sign there may be more demand in this lane, so I’m tapping in on this one. 😂 Important: Artists need to have their own recording setup and be available to record this weekend. I can only submit music that I have ownership in, so I am not looking for pre existing finished songs unless you are intentionally open to creating a new ownership arrangement around that music. I personally do not believe in taking writer share on something I did not actually help write, so my preference is to create something new together.
