Why text a girl back-and-forth to set up a date when you can just do one 35 seconds after you meet her?

🧠 MARC’S DAILY GAME DROP #4 | ‘Square Tf Up’
A lot of you think girls keep walking because they’re not interested. Sometimes that’s true. But a LOT of the time it’s something else. You never actually started the interaction properly. You’re standing on the side of her. Walking beside her. Half turning your body while talking. The interaction never ACTUALLY locks in. So what happens? The energy of the interaction starts leaking out the door. Because you never fully closed the door in the first place. Now she does that thing you’ve all seen. She looks like she’s about to stop… Then suddenly she’s walking again. Then two seconds later she’s gone. Guys always interpret that as rejection. But often what’s really happening is this: The interaction never felt grounded. When you approach a girl you should square up properly. Step in front of her. Face her. Chest facing chest. Not aggressive. Not invading space. But clearly present. And importantly… You are not standing side by side with her. You are not walking and talking. You are not half turned. When you square up, the interaction actually starts. The energy stops leaking. Now there is a contained interaction between two people. This is something most guys don’t realise. Male to male, squaring up can signal confrontation. Two guys face each other and it can feel tense. But male to female… It actually does the opposite. It creates clarity and safety. Because she can clearly see: • where you are • what you’re doing • what the interaction is What actually feels unsettling for a girl is when a guy is hovering beside her or talking while walking. That feels uncertain. And uncertainty makes people want to exit the situation quickly. So she instinctively keeps moving. And suddenly the interaction is over. ⚙️ TL;DR If you’re going to stop a girl… Stop her properly. Square up. Man to woman. Nothing less. — Coach Marc
🧠 MARC’S DAILY GAME DROP #3 | ‘But Marc! She’s On The Phone’
One of the most common excuses guys give themselves (and me, if we’re out on a session) is: “She was on the phone.” And? It’s actually a very workable situation if you know what you’re doing. Most guys see a phone and immediately disqualify the approach. High level game means approaching anyway. Not aggressively. Not awkwardly. Just calibrated. There are two main situations here 👇 📱 Earphones In If she has earphones in while walking, I’ll often mimic the action of taking them out myself. I’ll lightly gesture toward my ear like I’m removing an earphone and give a cheeky smile while doing it. Two important details: • You need to get in front of her so she can actually see the gesture • The smile makes it playful instead of intrusive Most of the time she’ll instinctively take one out and say: “Yeah?” That’s your opening. Now you’re in the interaction. 📞 Actively On A Phone Call If she’s walking fast and talking on the phone, the move is different. I’ll step slightly in front of her path and put my hand out gently to stop her. Then I simply say: “Hey… I know you’re on the phone.” That’s it. Nothing else. Now you wait. This is important. You’re not trying to talk over the call. You’re giving her the chance to decide if she wants to pause the call and engage with you. And surprisingly often… she will. She’ll say something like: “Sorry, give me a second.” Or “Yeah what’s up?” Now the conversation begins. ⚙️ Key Principle CAPABLE MEN don’t WAIT for perfect conditions. They calibrate to the situation and still take action. A phone is not a barrier. It’s just another variable to navigate. And the more you approach in imperfect situations like this… the sharper your game becomes. Happy friday. NOTE: Make sure all of you are tuned in for the group Q&A call tomorrow at 5:30 pm. I’ll be dropping game and you can ask me any cold approach related questions on that call. — Coach M

Danny, appreciate you putting this up man. Seriously. First off, respect for sharing this openly. Most guys miss an approach and just disappear for a while. They don’t talk about it. They don’t break it down. You actually came in here and explained exactly what happened, and that’s how you'll keep improving. Now.. let’s look at what actually went on. You saw the girl. She looked at you twice. The opportunity was there. Then the brain started doing what it always tries to do.. “She’s on the phone.”“There are people around.”“It’s Officeworks.”“How do I navigate this situation?” The brain starts trying to engineer the perfect setup, but cold approach almost never happens in perfect environments. The key thing though is something I want everyone reading this to notice. You left the store and then felt the pull to go back. That instinct is a really good sign. A lot of guys miss the moment and just walk away. The interaction dies there. You actually went back because something inside you said you didn’t want to let it go. That instinct is the part you want to keep listening to. Now...the adjustment for next time. You were overthinking the environment instead of just STEPPING INTO the moment. You could literally walk over and say something simple like: “Hey random one… I saw you earlier and thought you looked interesting so I had to come say hello before I left.” Even if she’s on the phone you can just smile and say something quick like: “Hey quick second when you’re done.” Or even: “I’ll wait a sec, I just wanted to meet you.” The key is move before the brain builds the whole argument for why you shouldn’t. Another important thing you mentioned is momentum. When you’re approaching regularly, things flow naturally. When a week goes by without reps, hesitation starts creeping back in. That’s completely normal. This skill stays sharp when you keep stepping into those moments. And guys, Danny said something that every guy in here has experienced: “The worst feeling is when you don’t do it.”
🧠 MARC'S DAILY GAME DROP #2 | 'It's Not About you, It's About Her'
Oh boy. Gentlemen, this is a big one. A lot of you that I’ve coached, or even just spoken to on calls before your first sessions, make the same mistake here. And I’ve been there too, man. I used to fuck this up the exact same way. You walk into the interaction thinking your job is to show her who YOU are. So you start performing. You become the 'dancing monkey'. Talking too much. Trying to be funny. Trying to 'prove' you’re interesting. But that’s the wrong focus. Stop doing that. She's NOT amused. What I want you doing instead is observing HER. Pay attention to what you notice + what you like/dislike Call things out. React to what you see. (Bonus: this makes it so you NEVER run out of things to say...) Example: "You have very intense eye contact." "You seem like trouble.. I like it" "You look like someone who gets bored easily." "You seem like you’d always be the one dragging your friends into chaos." Now the conversation becomes about HER, not you trying to 'sell yourself' Your PRESENCE & AUDACITY to approach IS the value. Let that sit. ________________________________ 🎯 Where Most Of You Fuck This Up A lot of you walk into interactions trying to demonstrate value. You start explaining your life. You think you’re building attraction. What you’re actually doing is seeking approval. Women feel that immediately... Guys who actually get results are curious/focused on ONE THING. The woman in front of them. They notice things. They react. They tease. They make observations. They make it about HER. How to win friends and f*cking influence people 101. Bonus: As you get deeper into the game, your approach ends up representing a 'screening mechanism' where you're seeing she's worth closing + isn't just a pretty face. Instead of talking AT her, they ENGAGE with her. Now she can actually feel a desire to invest in the conversation. And trust me, this works once you get the hang of it. ________________________________ 🎯 TL;DR Most of you guys don’t need better lines.
