I genuinely believe we can change the world for the better. Not with big speeches. With good people around us and the daily work of getting a bit better ever day at a time. 10 years of leadership. 7 years on the mat. The lessons from both keep pointing to the same thing: Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of a Team. And the root of all of it? Trust. No trust = no team. Simple as that. That’s why we start with White Belt - building the foundation first. Just like in Jiu-Jitsu, you don’t skip belts. Every week we’ll get on a call together and work through these topics live. Drop a comment below and tell us: 1) What brought you here? 2) What is your current occupation? 2) What is your real passion? Let’s get to know each other and understand what connects all of us. Welcome to the Gym. Let’s get started. Marco

🥋 White Belt Stripe 1 — What's Your Trust Profile?
Trust is the invisible operating system behind every relationship you have — with your team, your training partners, your family, your business. Most of us never stop to examine how we actually build it. Stripe 1 just showed you something specific: your exposure style (how much of yourself you reveal) and your safety style (how much space you create for others). These two patterns shape every interaction you have — at the gym, in meetings, at home. And here's the thing: there's no "correct" combination. An Open & Direct person paired with a Guarded person can be an incredible team — IF they understand the dynamic. Here's what to do: 1. Take a screenshot of your final Trust Foundations profile (the summary screen at the end) 2. Save it somewhere you'll find it — you'll want to compare this to your results at Blue Belt 3. Post your screenshot below 4. Then answer these questions in the comments: — What's your exposure style, and does it change depending on the context? (Think: are you more open at the gym than at work, or vice versa?) — Look at your safety score. Think about the person you lead or train with most. Would THEY agree with that number? — What's one specific moment from the last week where your trust pattern played out exactly as the tool described? Read what others post here. You'll start to notice something: the people whose profiles look different from yours are often the ones you find hardest to connect with — and understanding why is the first step to fixing it. I would say nowadays I am pretty open about most of my mistakes but it wasn't always like this and sometimes it still is difficult. In the past I often had trouble admitting mistakes when I thought my reputation or my job was on the line. Nowadays I try to be as honest as possible and take responsibility for my actions - even if it hurts. How do you feel about admitting mistakes and does it vary who you are admitting them to?
