This event also marks an important symbolic return, as more than ten years ago the Swiss BRICPOL Championships had already made a strong impact at Palexpo. Today, a new generation returns to make Geneva vibrate again with a modern, realistic and international vision of combat. It is a great honor for me to preside over the stand of the Swiss Mixed Fighting System Federation, bringing together the disciplines of BRICPOL, Boxe Libre, English Boxing, Kickboxing and Grappling. 🔥 Only true enthusiasts will understand.It is difficult to teach real self-defense when you have never experienced the pressure of combat, fatigue, stress, timing or confrontation. Training students requires credible, realistic and effective techniques for protection and survival. 🥊 This OPEN competition will gather fighters from 7 to 50 years old from several European nations, with light, medium and full contact fights. More than one hundred selected fighters are expected in front of what promises to be an exceptional audience. 🏆 Each division winner will receive a trophy, while medals will be awarded to all those who had the courage to step onto the fighting area and defend their colors with honor and respect. 🇬🇧 There are countries you don’t just visit… you feel them. I had the chance to travel through Lebanon, sharing seminars, training sessions, meals, and unforgettable moments with martial artists, fighters, passionate young people, families, and deeply human individuals. Today, when I watch these videos and photos again, I feel immense sadness. I simply wonder: are they still alive? Are they safe? What marked me in Lebanon was not war. It was the dignity of the people. Their respect. Their courage. Their honesty. Their willingness to help despite difficult conditions. As a martial artist, I met true warriors there in the noblest sense of the word: people with honor, values, and integrity. I refuse to see an entire people reduced to labels or stereotypes. Behind every country, there are human beings who simply want to live, work, protect their families, and keep hope alive. Martial arts taught me one essential thing: the more you understand violence, the more you understand the value of peace. My sincere thoughts go to everyone I met there. 🙏 🇱🇧 Il y a des pays qu’on ne visite pas… on les ressent. J’ai eu la chance de traverser le Liban, de partager des stages, des entraînements, des repas et des moments de vie avec des pratiquants d’arts martiaux, des combattants, des jeunes passionnés, des familles, des gens profondément humains. Quand je regarde aujourd’hui les vidéos et les photos de ces moments, je ressens une immense tristesse. Je me demande simplement : sont-ils encore là ? Sont-ils sains et saufs ? Ce qui m’a marqué au Liban, ce n’est pas la guerre. C’est la dignité des gens. Leur respect. Leur courage. Leur honnêteté. Leur capacité à aider malgré les difficultés. En tant qu’homme d’arts martiaux, j’y ai rencontré de véritables guerriers dans le sens noble du terme : des personnes de parole et de valeurs. Je refuse qu’on réduise un peuple entier à des caricatures ou à des étiquettes. Derrière chaque pays, il y a des êtres humains qui veulent simplement vivre, travailler, protéger leurs proches et garder espoir.

🇬🇧 English 📍Back to May 21st, 2018.After four intense days of Krav Maga training and a demanding application process, I received my fourth instructor certification.A journey that had already taken me through organizations such as EIKM, IKI, IKMI, before continuing my research within REKM. With time, I understood something essential: you can collect seminars, diplomas, methods, and experiences… but some people leave a mark for life.Nothing I learned afterward truly convinced me more than the teaching of the man I still consider today my first real Sensei: Philippe Kaddouch. It was under his guidance that my mindset, my character, and a large part of my technique were built.Youth pushes us to compare, test, travel, question everything, and explore other horizons. And somehow, that is normal. Youth makes us commit mistakes, creates regrets and doubts… but that is also what we call the learning process of life. Over the years, we learn that intelligence is not about never falling, but about not repeating the same mistakes forever. That is where we recognize the people capable of evolving, growing, and becoming better human beings.
