Opening doors
Being in an transition period is uneasy. The unknown is really being trusting in the process and journey. When you've had many failures its hard to trust the process. I am leaning into it and trying to embrace the experiences and feeling all the feels. I wonder what are your experiences in career change and relocating you family to a new city and what tips do you have to help ease the uneasiness.

You made it!
Welcome to The Village; we're happy you're here! Please use this post to say hi and tell us a little about yourself. Our first Sacred Sesh is Monday, 1/12. You'll find all the details in the "Calendar" tab up top. It is a low-key, low-demand virtual hangout. We'll talk, body double, laugh, and hold space for whatever else comes up. These are scheduled for every other Monday at 8:30pm EST, right here on Skool. All the juicy stuff will be housed in the "Classroom" tab (also up top). We're building a video library of trauma-informed guidance, resources, and so much more. As a member of The Village, you have full access to Sacred Sesh calls and this ever-growing, evergreen library. If you'd like to learn more about me and connect on social media, click here to get to my LinkTree. Can't wait to know and hold space for each and every one of you! Loving you!!!

Hi Im Marc aka Greyhorn. Im a widow, father to two awesome kids. Old Norse is my path and I live for truth. Im currently in Florida but come summer me and the kids are moving to Virginia for the next chapter. Im a survivor of assault in a few ways and suicide survivor. Ive been broken in so many way and still put myself back together better and stronger than before.
Direction
Kendrix(they/them)19 has been such a great kid. From the time they were born they were recognized as an old soul and so calm. Teenage years as for most of us was difficult for them. But made it through to be an amazing person that I have the honor of calling my child. Hunter(he/him) 11 has been a good kid. He had it rough in 2024 with the passing of Hillary but is doing amazing now and is going to do great things when he grows up. The parenting styles were so different with them. We didnt need to helicopter Kendrix as much as Hunter he craves the attention (Leo). Adapting to their needs was hard the past couple of years . They are so different but so much alike. They've bonded more over tragedy within our family and have become my rock on my bad days. Being a single parent now has opened my eyes even more with what is going on and seeing them grow together and individually has been so amazing to witness. Proud parent Post!! I love my kids ( who they were, are, and who they are becoming)
Support Groups Start 2/4
Happy Monday! Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone for being so awesome exactly how you are right this moment. You are so loved! On that note... The Village is honored to offer 4 different virtual support groups on Wednesdays at 8:30pm. 1st Wed - DV/SA Survivors 2nd Wed - Single Parents 3rd Wed - Chronic Illness Warriors 4th Wed - Reparenting Parents These are free to attend and will be on Google Meet. The link is in the Skool calendar. Think of these as talking circles where you will be heard and witnessed in your vulnerability. It takes a courageous person to allow themselves to be held by their community. We're all going through things, and we don't need to suffer in isolation. Loving you! xoxo, Jess
