When you run out of Claude/AI credits, do this!
i was getting Cowork to work on my finances for 1H of 2026. it's a heavy duty task, so i ran out of credits. it's a bummer. but ... the credit reset was 1.5 hours away. so, i waited (that's duh). but i also wrote a prompt = what i wanted Claude to do, while it was still fresh on my mind and put the timer on for the credit re-set times. ❓do you run out of credits with AI often ❓are you using free, pro or max plan for Claude

I run out all the time using Claude Code on the Pro plan. When I do, I simply switch from Opus to non-Anthropic model and continue working in the same session. The way it works technically is using the app "Visual Studio Code" with a Claude Code extension configured to a different LLM (Z.ai's GLM-5.2). I can go in there, use the /resume command, choose my paused Claude session and can simply keep working. Both apps need to work in the same folder that has all my agents' instructions.
