How Important Are Electrolytes?
Staying hydrated isn't just about drinking more water — it's about helping your body hold onto that water. That's where electrolytes come in. Electrolytes (like sodium, potassium, and magnesium) are minerals that act like little magnets for water inside your body. Without them, the water you drink doesn't stick around long enough to do its job. Sodium is the most important one. It controls how much fluid stays in your blood and tissues. You lose it through sweat, which is why longer or more intense workouts can leave you feeling depleted. The good news? Most of us are already getting enough electrolytes through a normal diet. You don't need to be loading up on sports drinks or electrolyte supplements for everyday activity. Save those for long, sweaty workouts when you're genuinely losing a lot through sweat. Your body is also incredibly smart — it regulates hydration automatically by triggering thirst, adjusting how your kidneys work, and balancing your blood pressure behind the scenes. Here's the takeaway: ●Drink water consistently throughout the day ●Eat whole foods (they naturally contain electrolytes) ●For long or intense workouts, pay more attention to sodium replenishment ●Don't overthink the supplements — real food and water go a long way I'm curious to know, do you add electrolytes supplements to you water?

My fav are the Organika electrolytes. They are clean & have yummy flavors. I’ll bring some samples to try picnic. I am also picky about my water. Hoping to one day soon purchase an alkaline water machine. I’ll bring my water tomorrow as well.
Pour Into Your People
Reach out to one sister in Christ with a simple, sincere message of encouragement or gratitude. Text, call, or go for coffee with her and let her know how much you value who she is, and how meaningful your friendship is. No agenda — just love. Then pray for her by name and ask the Lord to bless your friendship. After you've completed this week's Love In Action challenge comment DONE!

I have a pink Bible and a burgundy Bible! Lol. I listen to the call today while I was doing an outside workout. Excited about getting to know each one of you. Remind me to share my story about not needing a new friend.
When Love Feels Light Again
This month’s theme is ✨️Ethereal ✨️ God designed you for beautiful, life-giving relationships that reflect His heart — rooted in unity, love, and grace. In this Ethereal season, what would it look like for your relationships to feel lighter? Less striving. Less comparison. Less offense. More grace. More peace. More freedom. “Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, for love covers a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8 Love creates the atmosphere we live in. And when we choose grace over offense, something shifts — not just in others, but in us. Relationships can be a wonderful gift, but they can also be difficult at times. Have you ever been hurt or offended by a friend, and how did that affect you? We're you able to mend the relationship and what did you do to heal?

I use the Bible App. I often prefer to listen instead of read the Old Testament when the all the names & places are difficult to pronounce. Plus this way I can listen to the Bible while I’m driving to/from work. I also enjoy the Bible Recap plan. It is also a read the Bible in a year. I enjoy the recap videos that are included. Helps me understand what I’m reading & gives a lot of context of the times about the people, places, authors, culture, etc.

Love Jesus. Love my family. Love people. Love nature. Love chocolate. Pretty much in that exact order.
