When I was a child, I watched my mom draw ocean scenes—majestic ships with full sails, peaceful beaches, and always a lighthouse beaming from the rocks. What I remember most wasn’t the paper or the paint. It was the joy. It poured out of her like sunlight. That joy became my inheritance. Today, when I draw caricatures, cartoons, doodles, or portraits—it feels like I’m echoing her passion. Like I’m closer to God, and closer to who I was made to be. If you’ve followed my work, you know what I love to create: cute monsters, over-the-top caricatures, whimsical cartoons, robots in love, and anything that brings a little light and laughter to the world. But now… I’ve stepped into something deeper. The community I want to build exists to support something I call Passion Projects—portraits, caricatures, cartoons, and illustrations I create at no cost for people I feel led to bless. I print and ship these myself, free to the recipient. It’s part of a promise I made to a dear friend before he passed: to pay it forward with my art. And I’ve also become known for Random Acts of Caricature—free caricatures I draw for unsuspecting strangers in places like Panera or while cruising with my family. No charge. Just joy.
