🧶 Quick Monday Check-In
It’s a crazy Monday in tax world, but I still wanted to pop in and say hey to everyone. What’s going on in your world today? It doesn’t even have to be crochet related. We’re all real people with real lives outside of Skool… unless today you’re choosing to escape into yarn and live in a fantasy world for a while. 😄 The weather here is being wild — it was 60° yesterday, and I woke up this morning to snow falling. Apparently Mother Nature couldn’t decide what season she wanted overnight. I’m hoping to sneak in some crochet time later tonight once the tax-day chaos settles down. I’ll probably keep working on my freeform project. What’s going on in your world today?

@June E Mackenzie That would be such a hard thing. Just buy some more storage and stuff it it all in there.

@Melissa King I have a loud mouth husband and a doggo that swats at me until I do. Plus, I did a short run while I was answering chats at work, so now I stink.
🧶 Stitchery Files Roll Call
If you’re planning to crochet the mystery blanket, I’m curious… What four colors would you choose? For mine I used: • Spa • Ivory • Sungold • Rosy Cheeks But I love seeing different combinations. Drop your colors below!

@Melissa King It's still 1155 my time. Bwhahaha 🤣

@June E Mackenzie You can use whatever fiber you wanted. It is simple squares to give that beginner 1. practice and 2. It expands beyond the sc, hdc and dc as you get further into the story. But, they are still beginner friendly stitches. Just let me know if you need additional assistance along the way.
🧶 Crochet Confession Time
Be honest… which one are you? A. I start every project immediately B. I collect yarn and admire it C. I have 7 unfinished projects D. I frog things until they behave

@June E Mackenzie I'm beginning to think there is a theme with crocheters.
🐶 Pillow’s Crochet Companion Roll Call
Pillow has been supervising my crochet again today (very serious quality control over here). It made me curious — do any of your fur babies keep you company while you crochet? If you’d like, share a picture of your crochet companion in the comments. Dogs, cats, birds, yarn thieves… all are welcome. Pillow would love to see who else is part of the crochet supervision team. 🧶

Welcome
Hey crochet friends! I’m Mo, your crochet companion. This space is where we can go deeper than YouTube. Over there we learn stitches and projects — but here we can talk about crochet, share ideas, ask questions, and explore creativity together. You’ll see things here like: 🧶 crochet tutorials and tips 🧶 behind-the-scenes experiments 🧶 pattern ideas and inspiration 🧶 discussions about technique and design And occasionally… we might unravel a mystery or two along the way. If you’re new here, say hello and tell us: What type of crochet do you love most right now? Beginner stitches? Filet crochet? Freeform? Something completely different? I’m excited to build this creative corner together. Grab your yarn and make yourself at home. 🧶 Why I names my channel MoStitching: https://youtu.be/rXAz9JSYLc8?si=CSSQ1eP7mfUm73lj

@June E Mackenzie well you are in the right place. If you need to refresh your memory on certain stitches, you can start with my beginner course. That takes you from the roota to the toota. I particularly have a video that is common mistakes that beginners make. If you already know how to do single crochet, double crochet half double crochet, than you could get some practice with the stitchery files. If you ever find that something isn't clear in the instructions, please just let me know. I learn from you just as much as you learn from me.
