Swimming or walking?
Hello 🙋‍♀️ What movement or fitness are you doing today? It's late morning, almost midday and I can't decide whether to go for a swim at lunchtime or take our dog for a walk (as the weather is looking a bit better now than it was this morning) So, what are you doing?

One of my favorite forms of fitness is playing with our fur babies, Jax & Kota. They are 1 1/2 year old English Springer Spaniels & they're quite a handful but we love them. 💜💜

@Jackie Tarling Thank you! Yes, we walk them a few times/day & they have play time in the backyard where they can safely run at full speed.

Saturday shenanigans! What are you up to today?
I'm visiting Tewkesbury Abbey today to sing Christmas carols and songs at their Christmas Fair. Love being in a choir. I only recently joined and wished I'd done it before. I've always joined groups centred around fitness and being outdoors, so this is something different. And it has many benefits too: Benefits of singing for mental health - Reduces stress and anxiety: Singing lowers the stress hormone cortisol and can help you calm down through deep breathing, which activates the body's relaxation response. - - Boosts mood: It releases endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine, which are "happy hormones" that improve mood and create a sense of pleasure. You don't even have to be a great singer to experience this benefit. - - Enhances social connection: Group singing, like in a choir, fosters a sense of community and belonging. Studies show that social connections are vital for health, and the social bonding in choirs can be particularly beneficial. Hi Jackie! Kudos to you for joining the choir! Singing carols is a great way to spend the day. 😊 I spent the morning prepping for an upcoming workshop. Now, I'm working at my art gallery with my Mom. We're about to move to a new space in a few weeks so there's lot of preparation taking place. I'm embracing the movement as it's another form of exercise. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! 🤩

How are you finding the Skool App??
Hello 👀ladies, I'm getting some feedback that some of you are having issues with the Skool community. MY ADVICE is, if you're using your phone, please download the Skool APP. It just doesn't seem to work otherwise. If you're using desktop then it should be fine though. Any problems with downloading the app and signing in, please do email me [email protected] I'm trying to encourage more engagement - the more you like and comment on posts, the more points you earn. I'll start putting more learning into the classroom and it will release when you get to certain levels. So, get engaging! I'd love to see this community become vibrant with lots of questions and answers. So hit me with any questions here in the community and I'll do my best to answer them. I'm loving the Skool community! I primarily use it on my desktop however I do have the app on my phone as well. I totally agree about engagement. I'm seeking ways to promote engagement as well.
