How High ATAR Students Prepare for Exams - Full Guide in Elite!
Here is a simple 4-step exam preparation framework used by high performers. 1️⃣ Content Consolidation Before doing lots of practice questions, you need to actually understand the content. This means: • reviewing notes • making summary sheets • testing yourself with active recall A simple rule: If you can't explain a concept clearly, you don't fully understand it yet. 2️⃣ Question Exposure Exams follow patterns. The more exam-style questions you see, the more familiar those patterns become. Sources of good questions include: Real Knowledge Academy Practise Papers, past school exams, QCAA past papers, textbook exam questions. The goal is familiarity with how questions are asked. 3️⃣ Timed Practice Many students only practise questions slowly. But exams are performed under time pressure. Practising timed sections helps you: • develop speed • improve decision making • stay calm during the exam 4️⃣ Error Analysis This is where the biggest improvement happens. After every practice exam ask: • What concept did I misunderstand? • Was this a careless mistake? • Did time pressure affect me?

How accurate is year 11 performance to year 12?
Hi guys, I recently received my scores for this year and have my ATAR for year 11, and let's say it's horrible in general and even worse for medicine. But my question is to anyone who has graduated or is in Year 12: how accurate do you think your Year 11 ATAR was to your actual result? I know I can improve, but I am a little scared regarding the content level for year 12

Heyyy, I honestly don’t think Year 11 is that accurate to Year 12. Speaking from experience, I was averaging around 70% and freaking out about whether it would be the same in Year 12. Year 11 just gives you a rough idea of how effective your study habits and time management are. It’s not a reliable prediction of your final ATAR. Use it as feedback, not a verdict. Ask for help, adjust your strategies, and don’t stress too much! Heaps of people improve massively in Year 12. Go into Year 12 confident knowing you’ve already got experience from Year 11. You’ve got this!

@Khyati Shrivastava Anytime!
To the Year 12 class of 2025
Whether you've completed your externals, or you’re heading into your last papers, we want to say this clearly: ✨ We are proud of you. ✨ This year asked a lot from you you grew, you learned, you sacrificed, and you kept moving forward. As your exams end, remember this: • You are more than a number. • You are capable. • You are becoming someone you can be proud of. Rest. Celebrate. Reflect. And when you're ready, look forward — because the world is waiting for your ideas, your energy, and your impact. With respect and belief in your future, The Project 99.95 Team 🚀

Now, it’s time to show what you’re capable of. Remember — your worth isn’t defined by a number. But your discipline, resilience, and attitude will define where you go next.
