An exercise in depth perception and perspective.

It has been several months since i presented some of my work due to my time in the Kimberleys, Greece, Turkey, Italy and Croatia and more recently Sri Lanka. Now its back to the oils. The attached is an oil of a night time image of one of the back streets on my travels.

Learning more with every painting of the children, three to go. still a little fine detail to be completed

I have five grandchildren, and I intend to paint each one before the end of the year. The attached is my first go at portrait painting, and I have learnt a lot from this portrait. I will paint each one at a different stage of their sporting life. Two are 12 years old and three are fifteen, each having achieved sporting achievements.
