First image from my upcoming short film “SOUNDCHECK” Instead of turning on all the ceiling lights in this basement, we just blasted a warm light at the top of the stairs… So that when the main character heads up… we see his silhouette. An even lit image would appear flat - But being intentional with lighting was key because now it feels like we are entering the main characters mind. We def had some obstacles yesterday which was day 1 of filming but we pulled through! More updates otw.
