Do you have a child who struggles with paying attention, even for s short amount of time? It seems like just getting that ONE thing done with them is almost impossible? I have a little boy like that and the other day i discovered a hack for him that made math take less than 15 minutes! Use a timer! For one page I told him- you have 7 minutes to get this page done until there is a consequence (no video games this afternoon perhaps?) and it was more than enough time. He had it done in about 4 minutes. Then with the next page i said ok good, now lets see how fast you can do it FOR TIME and then the next time we do this we will try to beat that time. It took him 3:50:00 to finish about 15 problems! Now i wrote that down at the top of the page and the next time we have that page we will try to beat that record!
