Working on the 'brain' with Obsidian...
What's up, community! This week I'm delving deeper into implementing the second brain, using Claude Code and my Obsidian. Obsidian becomes much more useful when Claude Code can read, write, organize, and act inside your vault. Obsidian is the storage layer; Claude Code is the reasoning/action layer. The system has two layers: 1. Strategy / Second Brain Layer. This is the “what should I do?” layer. It stores your broader life/work context: • goals • notes from books/videos/courses • journals • calendar/reviews • long-term direction • decisions • recurring reflections. Claude uses this layer as a thinking partner. The point is not just storing notes; it is giving Claude enough context to help you decide what matters next. 2. Project / Execution Layer: This is the “how do I do it?” layer. Each major project gets its own folder/vault where Claude Code acts more like a focused operator. It should know only the project context, constraints, files, tasks, specs, and outputs. I'll share my first results soon... I now have my VPS running Hermes and OpenClaw, and I'm connecting everything with Telegram and fine-tuning it.

Yes, this was my starting point, but I tweaked it a little bit after seeing its potential and, little by little, adapted it to my way of working. Now I'm following Nate's 2nd brain and working on the Obsidian vault, where I'm adding the different parts and folders I normally use in my projects. Till now, I had different projects/repos for working on, but I'm now building this with my mission, goals, and values (will be used by all projects), my brand assets, etc., in one single VSCode folder that I work in both with Claude Code and now also with Codex. This is what I'm implementing this week: Nate's "Build your AI OS" course (in the classroom), combined with the previous project I had last week, bringing the three together first to see how things are going.
Getting Started With Codex CLI Is Easy (Here's How)
In this video, I'll show you how to get started with Codex, the AI coding harness by ChatGPT. We'll cover the essential steps on how to setup Codex primarily using the command line interface, focusing on efficiently integrating this powerful ai coding assistant into your workflow.

I-m starting now to take a look at codex as an option to work together with claude code. Your video help us to start, thanks. .

These 31 members put in the reps and walked away with a working assistant they built themselves: Robert Marshall, Gabriel Gadsden, Kamesh S., Patrick Campbell, Marianella John, Jerick Paulo, Duarte Colaco, Alessandro Waidmann, Fouad Hassanein, Nikit Raghuwanshi, Siri, Kevin Montes, Kingdavid Agbidi, Ramkesh Kumar, Aamir Mustafa, Joel Crasta, Miroslav Buso, Leoni Milano, Olga, Gautam, Muhammad Haris, Gregory Lashley, June MG, Justin Weschenfelder, Shahroz Ahmed, JoJo, Tone Glomstein, Nikkie Burns, Anurag Sinha, Kirk Shelton, Varun If you haven't started yet, the challenge is completely free and it's right here: https://www.skool.com/ai-automation-society/classroom/dda699b7?md=1be568a1864b4d999d152832656dea48 One lesson, one build, each day. By the end you'll have your own Claude Code assistant up and running. See you in the next cohort. - Nate

🚀New Video: Claude Code Skills Are Broken (Beginner to Pro)
I've genuinely never been as productive as I am right now, and it all comes down to Claude skills. In this video, I break down everything you need to know about them, even if you've never heard of the concept or built a single skill before. I'll explain what skills actually are, why you should care about them, and exactly how they work under the hood. I'll even do a full live build of a skill from scratch so you can see the entire process in action. By the end of this video, you'll be a pro at building and using Claude Code skills. @Alexander Zemella always is a good option to understand better the whole thing. I still use it for some special cases aligned with the claude agents or with hermes
