WHAT IF NOBODY IS COMING?
For years… I waited. For my parents to understand. For my husband to change. For my in-laws to care. For my community to notice. For a coach to rescue me. For a lawyer to fix everything. For my children to make life easier. I kept waiting. Nobody came. At first… it broke me. I felt abandoned. Used. Forgotten. I had poured years into everyone else’s life. I assumed one day… someone would pour into mine. Then Allah taught me something I wish I’d learned decades earlier. I wasn’t investing in people. I was investing in approval. Every sacrifice… Every “yes”… Every time I stayed quiet… I was depositing into the People-Pleasing Account. It never paid dividends. Then one thought changed everything. Nobody is coming. But Allah is already here. That wasn’t depressing. It was liberating. Because if nobody was coming… I could stop waiting. I could move. I could choose. I could build. I could become responsible for the woman Allah created me to be. So I made a list. Everything that needed to change. My health. My exhausted body. My thinking. My fear. My inability to speak. My relationship with money. My empty bank account. My debt. My habits. My conversations. My standards. It was overwhelming. So I stopped looking at the whole mountain. And climbed one step. Then another. I invested in learning. I hired coaches. I developed skills. I made difficult decisions. I said no when I needed to. I walked away from what was breaking me. And Allah… opened doors I couldn’t even see before. Not because someone rescued me. Because I finally stopped waiting to be rescued. Allah says: “Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves.”(Qur’an 13:11) That ayah hits differently when you’ve lived it. If you’re reading this… maybe you’ve been waiting too. Waiting for confidence. Waiting for permission. Waiting for the perfect time. Waiting for someone to believe in you. Maybe this Muharram… Allah is asking you the same question He asked me.

So inspiring and absolutely true 👌
Stop waiting to be chosen
One of the most expensive business mistakes is waiting to be chosen. Waiting for a promotion. Waiting for recognition. Waiting for a recruiter. Waiting for a mentor. Waiting for confidence. Top performers understand something different. Opportunities are often created, not discovered. The marketplace rewards people who build skills, create value, and participate consistently. Not those who wait for permission. Many talented women remain underpaid not because they lack intelligence. Because they continue waiting for validation. The future belongs to people willing to move before they feel fully ready. #Leadership #CareerDevelopment #WomenInBusiness #CommunicationSkills #ProfessionalGrowth

You know more than you express.
You know more than you express. That’s why you stay quiet. That’s why opportunities pass by. That’s why someone else gets chosen. Imagine what changes when your voice finally matches your wisdom.
You know more than you express.

Everything …
Travelling
Some women dream of seeing the world. Not me. I only want to collect moments with Allah. A quiet corner in Madinah. A slow walk after Fajr. The sound of dhikr before the city wakes up. A conversation with my Creator that nobody else hears. The older I get, the more I realize something: The most beautiful journeys are not always measured in miles. They are measured in closeness. Closeness to Allah. Closeness to your purpose. Closeness to the woman He created you to become. There was a time when I thought success was found in bigger goals, bigger stages, bigger achievements. Today I know there is a higher form of wealth. A heart at peace. A tongue busy with dhikr. A soul that knows where to return when life becomes heavy. So yes, I still dream of travel. But the destination I seek most is not found on any map. It is found in sujood. It is found in silence. It is found in those sacred moments when the world disappears and it is only me and Allah. Allahumma salli wa sallim ala Muhammad. May Allah grant us journeys that increase our iman. May He make every road lead us closer to Him. Ameen.
