We have a much of crazy talented people in this room and I'd love to hear your thoughts on webinars/workshops. What are your favorite hooks to get people staying in their seat? How do you like to transition from teaching to pitching without the ick? What are your tride and true - can't forget this part of the pitch slides?
This is the introductions thread. Say hi, tell us what your business is all about! In your introduction, answer these 3 questions: ➡️ What is your name? (feel free to share pronouns if you’d like!) ➡️ What is your business or platform? Who do you serve, what do you sell, etc ➡️ If you were to host your dream party, and the sky was the limit, what would the theme be? We can’t wait to meet you!
Hey Creators! I know a lot of us have been considering starting a community here on Skool, and I’ve also seen Mariah sharing that she is putting together some resources to help us get started and answer questions— so, I thought it would be mutually beneficial for us to compile our thoughts, ideas and questions into one post. Here is Mariah’s affiliate link to join: http://mariahcoz.com/skool I’m thinking of starting a Skool community that is open to the public as well as for my clients. My intentions would be: 🤩 Create a more conversational experience with my podcast episodes. 🥂 Use it as a place to practice sharing ONLY Champagne Client Content. 💖 Use it as a space to host free/low ticket events (joining the community as the only way to get access.) 📈 Take advantage of the leaderboard and strategically have content to be unlocked that primes my community for my high ticket offer. 🤓 Nerd out on the SEO by repurposing pillar blog content into posts. 📲 Use it as a space to DM folks since I’m not on social. (Although there is no voice note feature so that is a huge difference. Would have to use some outside tech to send a voice note and they wouldn’t be able to send one back… could give them your Voxer handle?) ❓QUESTIONS❓ (Some of these require researching the platform itself) What are Skool’s data tracking policies? How safe is this platform when it comes to privacy? What are the ethics of the founders of this platform… I’m getting some pretty intense bro-marketing vibes. As a woman of color this really matters to me when choosing a platform. Do they have an ethics statement or values statement available for review? What are the logistics of hosting a free, public event in this space? There is no live video so it sounds like the calendar feature is what we would use… Can you have sub-groups where your private clients can see only posts meant for them or would you have to open a second community? As a course creator who teaches about prioritizing and focus— is having a course connected to a community a benefit or a potential distraction?
@Suzanne Chadwick it wasn't ultimately a big deal! We ended up having to shift video platforms (Thinkific to Vimeo + Skool) but even that was not that much work or time.

@Mariah Coz could you explain what you mean with putting client communications into a bundle with Skool? I have a Facebook group of 2k people but I dropped the ball with it last year when my business really started scaling... I tried picking up engagement again earlier this year and I'm ready to start fresh with Skool aka move everyone who still wants to be connected over!
