I wanted to check in because many of you have messaged me about the Branding Week assignment and shared that you’re still brainstorming ideas for your personal brands. I also haven’t received any dance videos from last week, and still waiting on some from week 1! So here’s what I’m offering: I can either post this week’s lesson by the end of the day today, or we can use this entire week as extra time for you to continue building your brand ideas. If you choose the second option, we’ll pick back up with the next lesson next week and I’ll extend the program by another additional week. Hey ! my name is Kennedy. I’m 22 years old and i’m from Detroit, Michigan. I recently moved back to Michigan after residing in Atlanta, for about four years, where I recently just graduated from Clark Atlanta University in May. When it comes to my biggest goal for dance right now, that would just evolving in every aspect of dance such as gaining knowledge on the things that lack within the dance industry, physically and mentally putting in the work to be a better dancer, getting the opportunity to dance for some of my favorite artists such as latto, partynextdoor, kwn, etc. and getting booked to perform at events such as the super bowl, bet awards, and even tours in the near future.

I moved to Philly in 2020 for college, I graduated from Temple University in 2024 majoring in Dance. Since I’ve been in Philly I’ve been training on Creatine Reaction Company for the past 3 years. A dance goal I have is to book my first industry job! I would love to work for Summer walker, Latto, Teyana Taylor, etc. I’m also looking to perfect my brand as a dancer, correcting my resume, and improving my social media footprint.
