Hey everyone! 👋
I wanted to share a little about my journey into making 💰 online through e-commerce, which has been a total game-changer for me. I started my own Shopify-based business focusing on high-ticket sales, and it’s been both rewarding and profitable so far. If you’re not familiar, Dropshipping is a simple yet effective model where you sell products online without needing to stock any inventory. When customers order from your store, the supplier ships directly to them. This means low upfront risk, and you can focus on the exciting parts—marketing, scaling, and building your brand. I know starting something new can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re navigating so many options. But trust me, the right guidance makes all the difference. For anyone looking to dive into this opportunity and start building their online income, this is the resource that gave me the push I needed: https://reczyproagency.fillout.com/businessregistration

@Amir Zayd Do you let the customer know that you don't own the product nor have it in stock specifically? And That you will be shipping the product directly from the supplier. Or do you say "In stock" and then tell him that the product will be shipped directly from the supplier. Lastly, how do yow do you let the customer know the above two points - in the T&Cs? As a pop-up on the screen at checkout? Or how?

@Amir Zayd Thanks for the response. I understand how some people do it - many people are not concerned about whether the way they conduct their business is halal or haram, but I appreciate the fact that you do. Which is good. As far as the reason of why you tell customers and write "In Stock" on the product detail page, that does not matter as to why you do it. What matters is whether you have it actually "In Stock" i.e. meaning it is owned by you (paid in full and under your name) or not. Where you store it, and who fulfills it does not matter. If you buy the Stock FIRST before selling the goods or before a customer pays for them, then that is fine. In case you don't, but you wait for the customer to pay first or place the order, and the you go ahead and buy it from your supplier and ship it to the customer's address - then that is typical dropshipping and you should not be writing "In Stock" under your own brand page/store. If the brand/Store is owned (100% equity) by the supplier, and you are acting as a selling agent, then if you write "In Stock" then it's fine as the product would actually be in stock in the supplier's warehouse. Hope that helps - do ask your local Scholar/Mufti to give you a fatwa on the In stock writing part as that may constitute as lying or giving misinformation or conflicting information to the customer before they purchase. Why you do it - is not something that really matters as one can have good reasons to purchase or sell Riba as well, that does not make it Halal. And Allah knows best.
