Loving this Working on this gorgeous scarf. Pattern from Bonnie Bay crochet. Only discovered her patterns very recently. And they are all really interesting stitches.
What’s one thing you love about your current project? 💛 A colour that makes you happy, the squish of the yarn, the pattern starting to show, the “I made this” feeling… tell us yours 😄🧶 x
I started this to be scarf yesterday. This show how long I had to wait about on my husband for his procedure. Which seems to have gone well. But it is a week before we see if he has had any real benefits from it. Im glad this haven’t a distraction from waiting. One lady walked in to the waiting room and said “aww that’s what I should have brought my wool and hook. I never thought.” I said “I never go anywhere without at least one ball and hook.” And she said “that’s brilliant”.
@Sam Hill it was about 4 hours. And the actual procedure took 20 mins. And then 30 mins recover. So mostly it was waiting. Hoping for less pain for him and that pain relief lasts aslong as it possibly can. For some people that’s 1 month some people it’s a year. So fingers crossed. I do have a bit of anxiety around crocheting in Public. Why I don’t know. But really. Everyone else is looking at their phones.
Not every day is a big crafting day. Sometimes it’s ten minutes and a brew… and that still counts. What’s your tiny win today, two rows, one granny square, weaving ends, or even just choosing your next yarn? x
Today my husbands having a procedure done at hospital. It will only take 30 mins but will be a lot of sitting about waiting around those 30 mins. So I’ll be bringing my crochet with me. Only problem is. For me. I’m having to start something new as my WIP are all at the same needed to sew them stage. So new project for today. I thinking a head warmer.
