Hello. I have a completed non-fiction manuscript that I wrote several years ago. I've taken it as far as I can. I cannot really afford to pay an editor the prices that I have been quoted, with people that I don't know. I have approached some hybrid publishers and it was a huge turnoff. They were very enthusiastic but then I would quickly realize that the sales guy or gal really had no idea what my book was about. Ew. I do want to self-publish it and then move on to other books that I want to write. I just can't seem to get past the professional edit part. I'm glad I found this channel and maybe I will learn how to make some of these choices intellegently and be frugal at the same time.
