Speedometer over reading by 10kmph
Hi everyone looking for some advice.. I recently replaced my 5 speed gearbox in my 99 WRX with a STI Version 6 gear set with 4.44 ratio and rear differential. I have noticed since the swap my speedometer is over reading by 10kmph. Could anyone advise if this can be corrected? Many Thanks

Yes there is a module that can be wired in to you instrument cluster to recalibrate it.

Wrx GC8 idle issue
Hi all I am experiencing an intermittent idle issue we’re at times I get low idle or stall from time to time. I replace the ICV with a new one and I am still experiencing the same issue. Car has 90,000km has been fully serviced and has new plugs and leads, Any advice will be appreciated 👍🏻

Thanks Brennan for the feedback I did buy a aftermarket ICV and it was ok for the first day of driving but soon the car started playing up again. I have another GC8 running perfectly and decided to swap MAF sensor to see if that was the problem but still had the same issues.. I then took off the aftermarket ICV and swapped it with the factory one on off my other car and gave it a good run this afternoon and so far so good. I will drive it some more over the coming days to see if the stalling and low idle stops. The new aftermarket ICV was fine for a day than seemed to fail. I will keep you posted on how it goes 👍🏻

Hi Brennan thanks again for the feedback.. after all the trial I finally fixed it! It ended up being the MAF sensor
