Story of the Week Every Friday
I propose that every friday we share the story of our week. What do you think? It could have a real purpose to it... to find solutions, to seek support or guidance, OR It could just be for the sweet art of telling a story. It's what used to bring people together. If you seek guidance or support START WITH THAT. If not, lets hear you. We do ask that there is no advice giving, more just the art of responding... if you wish to offer guidance, check in first. "Would you like some guidance from me?" There is a practice that I learned from Jon Young and the Art of Mentoring with the 8 Shields Model, that we have to have a story of the day at the end of the day, so why not share a story that came from your week, here? Make it as full and elaborate as you wish, with images, videos, or words. Soon we will start using TP Bucks to inspire more engagement 🧻 😉, curious? I bet you are!!

Sounds like a great idea.
Welcome Earth Guides! Will you introduce yourself?
Welcome Earth Guides! Thank you for being here. Will you introduce yourself? It is an honor and privilege to be working and playing on traditional unceded territory of the Ligʷiłdax̌ʷ people. We also recognize that we operate within the traditional, treaty and unceded territory of the We Wai Kai First Nations. We have an online community of support for Earth Guides since 2023. Welcome to the new Skool platform. We think this will suit our community better. Thank you for your patience as we finish all aspects of this resource, and once we have at least 10 subscribers, we will upgrade to the next level to have better access to more things in this online forum. A little background on Earth Guides. Our founder, Jamie Black, guide for over 27 years is wishing to help more people connect others with the Earth. Yes, there is a rabbit hole here, and Jamie will share this whole story soon. Earth Guides was born from a deep dive through the winter of 2023, when Jamie pondered "How can I be truly helpful to the Earth?" Many guided drum journeys lead Jamie to a deeper knowing that a Community of Support, and access to resources, tutorials, guidance and coaching is what makes the most sense. It has been an interesting journey, battling the brain drain of Zoom calls over Covid, and the burn out everyone is feeling here, so our wish is to produce bite size, edible resources that actually works. So please let us know how we can be truly helpful to you. If you have any resources, ideas or questions, feel welcome to share them, and we will build a community of resources here for people around the world to connect to the Earth. Welcome, we are glad you found us. Will you introduce yourself? Help us understand why you are here, and how we can support you?

Hi I’m Lynda, I live and work in Australia on Turrbal Country, on which Brisbane was built. I’ve feel I’ve been connected to nature all my life, but every day I’m learning more. I’m an environmental education teacher and love inspiring passion for nature in my students, no matter the age. Trying to find ways to dispel fear of the outdoors in my colleagues and students, so they can experience a deeper connection.

@Stephen Cochrane hi Stephen, I attended an earth education workshop in May this year and loved it. It has altered my perspective and I and trying to integrate elements in our programs. I’m unfortunately not in a position to embrace it fully …. Yet. I’d love to hear how you are using it in your practice
