We just hit week 6 of our current 8 week challenge and something is happening that I didn't think was going to happen. It's not just "what's your goal?", "did you finish it?". Yes that is part of it. But I'm noticing the crew is actually genuinely supporting each other through the difficulties. It's bloody beautiful to witness. This is more than what I could have asked for and who knew that creating an accountability 8 week crew was going to lead to everyone involved moving and uncovering some hidden truths about themselves. That being said, our next 8 week challenge kicks off on the 1st of July. Who's in?

List 20 things you enjoy doing (rock climbing, rollerskating, baking pies, making soup, kicking the footy, riding a bike, riding a horse, playing catch, shooting baskets, going for a run, reading poetry, and so forth). When was the last time you let yourself do these things? Next to each entry, place a date. Don't be surprised if it's been years for some of your favourites. That will change. This list is an excellent resource for artist dates.

Jason has kindly allowed me to make a post on his main page about our upcoming charity fundraiser. If you are based in and around Melbourne please come and join us on Sunday 28th June at Mountain Goat Brewery in Richmond from 2pm, for a great afternoon/evening of trivia (winning teams will win brewery provided prizes), games, live music and a raffle with awesome prizes provided by some local businesses, all to raise money for Cancer Council. Please share with anyone who is also based in this area. It is going to be a really fun event. All donations go directly to the charity. We are raising the money for this charity as we will be taking part in the Shitbox Rally event in August, where we have to drive a car worth less than $1,500 (including repairs, and bought with our own money) from Adelaide to Darwin across the dirt roads of Australia. Before we can take part in this great challenge we have to raise a minimum of $5,000 for Cancer Council. We are also looking for business sponsorship generally, or more "in-kind" donations/raffle prizes for the trivia event. These types of donations (if worth over $100) can lead to your business being able to have your logo on our rally vehicle and sponsorship also has your link on various websites including our fundraiser page, and the box rallies website. The rally will be filmed by ourselves for our YouTube channel (Wanderlust Wurzels) which has nearly 30,000 subscribers, where we will give a big shout out to any business donors. It will also be filmed by the official box rally teams for their own promotional content. So this could result in some good exposure for supporting businesses.
