Im going to hop on Facetime call with two community members later today to explain my process of buying cars at smaller auctions vs the bigger ones. Should last 30-45mins if anyone is interested please comment below and let me know can add you to the call!!!!! Maybe start doing 2 community calls a week if people are interested in that
First thing I do is review the auctions for the next day the night before. The reason I do the night before is the auction is listing items all day 8am to 5pm so if you check after they close you can see all the inventory added that day!!! This mostly works Mon-Fri as most auctions arent open on the weekend!!!!! Second thing I do is add the cars im interested in to my watch list! I try and focus on the cars that have the titles in at auction so I can sell the car the moment I get it!!! Nothing wrong with buying title absent car just be prepared to wait on the title!!!!! Ok now you looked online and made a list for the day before!!!! If your going in person use that list you made to precheck the cars before the auction opens. Most auctions have preview times the day before the auction begins I usually go in the am!!!!! MOST IMPORTANT PART IS WHILE PREVIEWING THE CARS TAKE A CHECK ENGINE READER TO RUN ANY CODES SO YOU CAN KNOW WHAT THEY ARE BEFORE BUYING!!!!
Ok think its time to come back and review the industry as the market changes I suggest we focus on sub 7K (really 4k) cars right now!!! Tax time sales shouldn't influence sales numbers today!!!! The prices you are getting now until December are normal car sales!!!!!! I know we all ate great during tax time but now is the time to be specific with your buys & flips!
Im learning Manhiem maybe a good place for people to start their auction journey. The reasoning I have being that is its alot easier to register with them to bid asap!! They have their own app and are the primary auction for most dealers!!! Their app is easy to navigate and with them having sooooo many locations its a good starting point for people just getting their dealers license!!
Just update I got car in Jacksonville, FL I brought it yesterday! The estimate was $700 to NYC!! Today I talked to them quote was $1150!!!! WHAT THE FUCCCCCKKKKKK!!! Ima broker so to the public that could be $1500 to a non broker
