Topic: “Carrying Your Cross Daily” “Then He said to them all, ‘If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.’” — Luke 9:23 1. Deny Yourself - Say no to temptation. No lust, ego, and don’t be lazy. You won’t accomplish these things because you’re strong, but because He IS, and he gives you the strength for the impossible. 2. Take Up Your Cross - Taking up the cross isn’t meant to be seen as “hardship”, it’s meant to be seen as a sign of obedience to the living God. - Loving those who are hard to love, forgive when it feels unfair, and showing up and fulfilling your purpose even though you feel unworthy. 3. Follow Him - Questions like “What would God want to me to do today?” are things that can help me feel more aligned to Him. - Actually DO the things you feel drawn to. Actionable Step! - Before doing anything else, pause and pray. Ask God “What does it look like to carry my cross today?”. - Write down or remember the answer, then do it.
