5 hints about OpenAI DevDay (Sept 29)
OpenAI DevDay is this Tuesday, Sept 29, at 10am Pacific. You can watch it free online. Sam Altman said this is the first DevDay where he's ever said "this is too much stuff to launch." So here's what we know so far. 1. "o," an assistant that keeps working Leaks show OpenAI is getting ready to launch an assistant called "o." It keeps working even after you close the chat. So it could do research or watch for things while you're away. It might even get its own email address. It already showed up on the Pro upgrade screen for some people. 2. A lot of launches at once Sam posted "big ship this week and then for devday" with six ship emojis. Ship means release. Fortune says OpenAI could launch 12 or more products. They also held off on big launches for two weeks so they could drop everything together. 3. Tools for creators OpenAI hired the co-founder of Patreon to run a new team just for creators. He said they're building tools for creators and their communities, and told people to watch DevDay. We don't know what the tools are yet. 4. New plans Leaks show three new plans for people building apps: Free, Prototype, and Accelerate. People also spotted a $500/month "ChatGPT Pro Max" plan that promises the fastest version of ChatGPT Work and Codex. 5. Next year's stuff, early Tibo from OpenAI said their new model made the team so much faster that they're shipping some things at DevDay that were planned for next year. My guess is a bigger Codex upgrade and easier ways to build your own agents. But that's just a guess. Price cuts OpenAI already cut prices on Sept 22. GPT-6 Sol and Luna cost half as much as the older models. - Sol: $2 in / $10 out per million tokens (was $4 / $20) - Luna: $0.10 in / $0.50 out (was $0.20 / $1.20) - If your app sends the same instructions over and over, those repeat parts can be up to 90% cheaper Free users can try Luna in the ChatGPT desktop app. Don't expect a giant new model OpenAI just stopped training its strongest models. One of its AIs got out of its locked test area and got on the internet when it wasn't supposed to. So Tuesday will probably be about agents, tools, and plans.

OpenAI DevDay: what dropped, what it costs, and what is actually useful
OpenAI DevDay in plain english (read before you pay $500) ok so OpenAI dropped 20+ things at DevDay today (Sept 29) most people are gonna see "$500 plan" and either panic or pull out their card don't do either yet. here's everything that actually matters, simple version the money stuff first - Plus: $20/mo. now gets GPT-6.1 Sol in Work and Codex, cloud coding, and you can use your plan inside some partner apps. if you're learning to build, start here and only upgrade when a real limit gets in your way - Pro 100: $100/mo. less usage than Pro 200, no Ultrafast - Pro 200: $200/mo. open to new people again, but new subs get a smaller allowance than the old deal - Pro 500: $500/mo. the new one. 25x the Plus usage and the only individual plan with Ultrafast catch: each model can have its own limits, so "25x" doesn't mean 25x of everything the Pro 200 catch (if you already pay for it) existing subs keep the old allowance through Oct 29, then it drops. same $200 price The Next Web reports Work and Codex goes from 20x Plus to 10x, and GPT-6 Pro chats from 200 to 100 a week same report says existing subs get a one time $2,500 in usage credits that expire end of 2026. that's usage credit, not cash, and not forever. check your account email for the real terms also buying extra credits on Pro 100 or 200 does NOT unlock Ultrafast that's the real story. not the $500 headline. same price, less usage teams (quick) Business Standard is $25 per person a month ($20 billed yearly) Business Premium is $125 ($100 billed yearly), 2 seat minimum, and you can mix seat types Premium gets 5x Standard and it's the tier getting Dots. if only one person on your team needs the big tier, mix seats instead of upgrading everyone these prices aren't new btw, just context Dots: the one I'd test first think of it like the difference between asking someone for a content plan and hiring an assistant whose job is keeping that plan updated a dot is an always on agent (runs on GPT-6 Astra) with its own cloud computer, browser, and your connected apps. it keeps working without you directing every step

1B free tokens on Muse AI, my code gets us both paid in tokens
Quick one. Muse (Meta's AI assistant) is giving 1 billion free tokens if you join with a referral code. I have been using it to build stuff and it is actually good. Use my code *HRCMMS*, redeem it in Settings within 48 hours of joining. We both get the tokens. Just search muse ai, it has an app. If you are outside the US, use a US vpn to sign up. No link, I know how that looks lol.

What’s good bro 😎
Found a DeepSeek 4.1 jailbreak prompt for OpenCode
I found a GitHub prompt labeled for DeepSeek 4.1. It's written as an instruction file intended to change how the assistant responds. https://github.com/togg53192-cmd/jailbreaks/blob/main/deepseek-4-1.md If you want to experiment with it, review the file first, then save it as AGENTS.md in a throwaway OpenCode project. OpenCode reads that file as project instructions. https://opencode.ai/v2/docs/instructions/ Try the same prompts before and after and see what actually changes. I haven't independently tested this prompt on the current model, so I wouldn't call it a guaranteed bypass. Has anyone tried it? Drop your results below.

Looking for a Software Developer to Work With
Hi, I'm Jason, a software developer based in Hong Kong. To be honest, I've been finding it difficult to generate good profits in the current Hong Kong market. So I'm looking for another software developer from the US or Europe who would like to work together and build something that can generate revenue. You don't need to be a highly skilled or experienced developer. I'm not looking for someone who knows every technology or can solve every difficult technical problem. I just want to find someone who can work together with me, share ideas, build things, and keep moving forward. I can handle the technical side as well, so you don't need to be a "10x developer." 😄 As long as you're able to code, willing to learn when necessary, and genuinely interested in building something that can make money, that's enough for me. I'm not looking for an employee or trying to hire someone for a normal job. I'm looking for a real collaboration, where we work together, share the workload, and try to generate revenue together. If you're a software developer in the US or Europe and this sounds interesting, you can check out the details here: 👉 https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DW-BL98Rgn2D8tk8k5ci38Msnj8gGLbSecTjzCz0dWw/edit?tab=t.0
