Ran into something worth flagging, though it's not a bug in your code: I tried to actually apply the migration, and hit UNSUPPORTED_PLATFORM since writes require WSL. Makes sense given the confinement guarantees. But then WSL itself turned out to be a real headache to get working on this machine — wsl --install, then even basic wsl --status/wsl -l -v hung indefinitely, traced it to a Hyper-V/VBS virtualization conflict on this hardware, survived a reboot. That's a local machine issue, not something in your control. The thing I'd flag as product feedback: right now there's no fallback at all for Windows users whose WSL setup doesn't cooperate — it's "WSL works perfectly" or "zero write capability," nothing in between. Given WSL can be a nontrivial hurdle even when nominally "installed" (as I just experienced), might be worth either: - A troubleshooting note in the native-Windows docs for "WSL commands hang" (Hyper-V/VBS conflicts seem to be a known class of issue) - Or, longer-term, a degraded native-Windows write path (even without full dirfd confinement, gated behind an explicit "I understand the reduced guarantees" flag) for users who genuinely can't get WSL running
