Surfing progression questions ⁉️🌊
What questions do you have about getting better in your surfing? Perfecting the pop up, barrel riding, picking the right board are some that come to the top for me. When you show up to the beach what is running through your mind? We will be planning out some video courses with @Mark McLaughlin this year and wanted to try and answer the questions you have. I want to make sure we answer most, if not all the questions you have. As always, thanks for any and all feedback!

For me, I spend 90% of my surfing time on a longboard. While I love short boarding, the smallest board I’ve ever really felt confident with is a 6’6” and the conditions had to be just right. Pushing 40 years old and 210 lbs, I’d love to find the right board and get back into riding something with a little more maneuverability, especially when it’s good out there.

@Trevor Berge super down to try that. Jack was my go to board for a while. Had it in 3 sizes.

This is a loaded question for me, I love parts of each one. Mornings have less wind, fire sunrises, awesome start to the day…. Days have less crowds during the week and more sunshine…. Sunsets back to less wind, amazing surfy sunsets, surfing til dark. I guess I pick all 3
