I started learning grasshopper in early 2024, out of curiosity (being pressured by my son for several years), lol. He saw potentional that I didn't understand. Having started with hand drafting workflows in the 80's and transitioning to CAD in the 90's, I was reaching the perception of knowing enough 3d software to get the work done. Honestly, "you don't know what you don't know" applied in my situation. After exploring what I didn't know, I now understand the opportunities and have a more open minded approach. Form finding is still something to pursue but I found that my use of Grasshopper has allowed significantly more design exploration and quick design revisions after client approval. In today's design market, get on track with what is going to make you marketable and develop expertise in your field of interest.
