• What’s your name?• Where are you from?• And what’s one thing you’re currently struggling with or trying to improve in your walk with God? No judgment here. Whether it’s: - distractions - anxiety - lust - consistency - prayer - discipline - purpose - relationshipsor just feeling distant from God lately… You are NOT alone. We’re going to grow stronger together. 🙏

Hello, my name is Luis. I struggle with many things like everyone here. I also would like to improve in a great deal of many things. I'm taking it one step at a time, I've been able to go to church more regularly and I'm now working on trying to initiate and lead prayers. If you're also going through a lot, it's okay to feel overwhelmed like so many things are pushing and pulling you in every direction. Just take one actionable thing. Do it. Left foot, right foot. Godbless.

Psalm 27:1 🙏📖
The Lord Is My Light Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?” David didn’t write this from a comfortable place. He wrote it surrounded by enemies, with people actively trying to take his life. And yet his first words aren’t a cry for help. They’re a declaration of confidence. Asserting God as his strong foundation. That’s what faith actually looks like under pressure. Notice he doesn’t say “the Lord will be my light.” He says “the Lord is my light.” Present tense. Right now. In the middle of it not after it’s over. Most of us are waiting to feel safe before we declare God’s faithfulness. David declared it first and let the peace follow. Light does two things. It reveals what’s really there so you’re not afraid of shadows anymore. And it guides your next step, you don’t need to see the whole road, just enough to move forward. Maybe just enough light for today. Stronghold means a place of safety you run to not a feeling you wait for. David ran to God the way a soldier runs to a fortress. Deliberately. Urgently. Knowing that’s where protection is. If the God who created everything is your light, your salvation and your stronghold then nothing else can have a say. Reflect: Have you been fearful? What fear have you been carrying that this verse speaks directly to? Bring it to God today, out loud, specifically, by name.

Wonderful reflection Merik 🙌
Should women cover their heads when in the presence of God?
I know that covering their head is a personal preference now but I have been wondering about this topic for a very long time. I was raised not to cover my head but as I have grown up my friends all cover their heads in mass, adoration, and even praying the rosary. So I started to cover my head but wanted to see everyone else's opinions on this topic.

Hi Ciara! Like you said, part of it is personal preference. If you feel like it helps you with your relationship with God, in how you communicate with God, if it helps you communicate something to God, and for whatever reason you may have, then you have the option to do so. I've had two friends, both Maronites, talk for an hour about kneeling during mass. Maronites keep themselves upright and it symbolizes the ressurection and eternal life whereas we, Roman Catholics, kneel to humble ourselves, to show reverence and adoration. Neither is wrong. It came down to tradition. Similarly, you could think to yourself "what does this head covering mean?" or maybe even "what does this head covering mean TO ME?" Would love to know on what your thoughts are after thinking more about it. Hopefully what I said helped you somehow. Godbless.
