Hey Jaco, You wondered about songs using the Bm chord. Toad the Wet Sprocket uses the chord quite often in their songs, e.g. in „All I want“: https://youtu.be/KsLL8HnnfkM

I’ve been a member for more than two years and have been really impressed with this guitar learning platform. The videos and tutorials really reflect my taste in music, are inspiring, and make it easy to progress step by step as an intermediate player. They genuinely make me want to pick up the guitar more often. I also really like the different formats, like Jooba Weekly and the Compendium with all the song PDFs. Overall, a great tool for improving guitar skills at my own pace while staying motivated.
I'm Back! 🥳 🎸
After 10 days of rest I am feeling better and ready to jump back into Jooba Guitar 🥳. A massive thanks to all the kind email replies and comments inside the Jooba guitar community. 💙 I really appreciate you guys and this is turning to out to be a very cool online space. ---- Here's a couple of things I did to get out of my hole. I will only list the things I did that helped, not the unhealthy stuff like isolating. 😎 1. Start the day well Started swimming at sunrise in the ocean with other people. A friend gave me some advice to spend the first 30min or so of the day watching the sunrise. This led me to discover a group of awesome people who jump of the pier and swim every morning. I joined them. 2. Read some good books. I have been listening again to the book “Stumbling toward wholeness” by Andrew J. Bauman This book was recommended during a hard time I went through a few years back and I keep coming back to it. Really intense, but really good. 3. Phone a friend I shared openly where I was with a few people I trust. We all know this is essential but it's really difficult while in the midst of the situation. Made a massive difference 4. Cancel a bunch of stuff I wouldn't normally recommend this but in my case I think it helped. 5. Saw a psychiatrist This didn't help for the reason you would think. But in short, hearing someone say I had to be booked into a mental hospital for 2 weeks and be put on permanent meds really gave me the drive to get over it in a healthier way. :) I'm just rebellious with certain things. Sometimes I believe pills can help, but for me I knew this was not the way to go. 6. Made good plans I made some non-adhd plans for the future. 😂 Sometimes people like me create big plans and dreams because we are really discontent and depressed with the way things are. Instead of dealing with the stuff, we create these ambitious dreams.. like buying a $1.5 mil house and converting it into a music school.. Which I still think is a good idea but not something to focus on now..
I'm Back! 🥳 🎸

Great idea! I’d love to have one in a pdf format that I can print out and use as an easy to access reference at home while still having the pdf when travelling / playing elsewhere.

I’m a huge fan of the Jooba weekly – it’s the perfect nudge for me. It keeps me motivated and gets me to pick up my guitar, even on busy days. I also love that it gives me something specific to focus on instead of just playing randomly. Jaco, I know you’re putting a lot of work into each edition. From my perspective, it doesn’t necessarily need to be super comprehensive. The more recent format, with a short introduction and one clear, simple task, works perfectly for me. I know I haven’t been great at sharing submissions, but please be assured that I always do the tasks and get a lot out of them. So I’d love to see the Jooba weekly continue, ideally with a kind of seasonal focus on specific topics like slap guitar or chord fills, with the exercises building on each other like a course. Thanks so much for all the effort you put into this!
